Our Mission
The mission of the Daniel G & Carole L Kamin Family Foundation is to drive positive transformation through strategic philanthropy. Guided by a commitment to innovation and social responsibility, the focus is on supporting initiatives that advance scientific discovery, improve healthcare research, foster education, and expand facilities to enhance the local landscape.

About the Foundation
Founded by Daniel G and Carole L Kamin, the Kamin Family Foundation is the result of a journey that began with a family-owned business and evolved into becoming the 38th largest developer in the nation, with properties spanning 45 states and totaling nearly 17 million square feet. Daniel Kamin’s visionary leadership transformed the landscape of real estate, elevating the family’s legacy to national prominence. The foundation is a culmination of giving to projects including UPMC Mercy Vision Pavilion, and The Carnegie Museums.
